Pakistan has never been a place of peace, especially seeing how it came about over war and battles with India, yet it has had its peaceful moments. What the future holds, nobody can be certain, but their most recent purchase has us all guessing it won’t be as peaceful as we’d hope for it to be.
The Prime minister of Pakistan, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was in Turkey this past week and had nothing but good to say about their defense productions. He was quotes as saying that Turkish Defense production industry was the absolute best in the world and that no other country could compare with them.
These words were said by the Prime Minister as he got off a test flight on Tukey’s T-129 attack helicopter and spoke to both Turkish and Pakistani media. While he stood before the cameras and reporters, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi spoke cartoonishly high of Turkish President, Tayyip Erdogan and of the country’s advancements in defensive technology. His words ended with an array of claps and cheers.
The Prime Minister didn’t just look at the war machine from the outside, nope, he actually went into for a closer look and was given the complete tour by Turkish Aviation officials. He was briefed on what all the switches were for and what kind of combat capabilities it was packing. From what they said, this chopper can be an absolute terror for anyone in its path. It was said by Temel Kotil, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Turkish Aerospace Industries, that the chopper was lightweight and was fully equipped with missiles and guns. That’s some serious weaponry.
